Luis Arencibia, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Luis R. Arencibia is a certified family medicine doctor who has been serving the New Orleans area since 2008. Originally from South Florida, he moved to New Orleans for his medical training and has been with East Jefferson General Hospital since 2005, even serving as Chief of Staff in 2018. His experience is diverse, ranging from running an urgent care clinic to specializing in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. In 2015, he opened his own primary care practice with a focus on affordable, high-quality healthcare. He enjoys teaching and has been involved in training programs for medical students and other healthcare professionals. Beyond his practice, he also provides care in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
